DIVINE APPOINTMENTS

Every day since last Thursday i have been out on the streets of Santa Rosa meeting the homeless. i have met them in the street, on the creeks, behind stores, and in the shelters and dining halls. i have taken their hands and hugged them and laughed and cried with them. Each one has a story unique to them and i listened. i have been blessed by each of them. i offered them socks, hats, gloves, food and i counted them. Some of them did not want to be counted, they do not see where the money goes. Some just do not want to be counted. Each and every one was grateful and each and every one was a blessing to me. i thank God that He gave me the oportunity to go to them and seek them out. i thank God that i was allowed to meet them and pray for them. God is so good all the time. Jesus i pray for all the homeless and at risk in Santa Rosa. Put your mantle of peace and protection over them and let them know your presence. Meet their needs and keep them safe. Give me a heart full of compassion and continue to move me Lord. Keep me moving for You in this crazy world. Thank you Lord and Amen.
