GOD IS GREAT
i can not begin to tell you what the last 7 days have been like for me. Being out in the street every day, meeting the homeless in our city, seeing the many faces and hearing the many stories. i can tell you that each one needs Jesus and Him crucified. i can tell you that all but one said yes when i asked to pray for them. Each one was grateful for the time we spent with them and for Jesus who made possible what we had to give. i am moved by the power of God and His divine plan for all life. i am thankful to be a small part in His plan and i hope i can do justice to bringing His saving message to each soul i encounter. Do i doubt myself? All the time. Do i think i am unworthy? All the time. i am just so thankful that each day i wake up i have a saviour who loves me and forgives me each time i fall short of His plan for me. Each day He gives me strength to talk about Him to others, to the lost. i am so moved and so deeply in debt to Him who loves me so much. After dying for me, the very least i can do is share the story, share the way, the truth and the life with others, share the God who i love more than anything i could ever imagine. Thank you Jesus, thank you for giving me countless chances to serve. Thank you for the brothers and sisters in my life who encourage me and hold me up and accountable. Mostly thank you for dying for me. Give me the courage and strength in the Holy Ghost to do what you want me to and keep going. Whatever the cost, keep me focused on you. For it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Each day, each moment, i must choose to die to myself and live for You Lord, Amen.
Some of us are preparing to go to Mardi Gras. i know that time will be full of the presence of God, that the Holy Ghost will be there with us in great power. There is nothing like that presence in this world. This last week was like that. Deep inside you know you are walking with God and all is right with your soul. It is hard to describe. It is the place i want to be every day of my life.
love you all. God bless you.
