MARDI GRAS
When i tell people i am going to mardi gras, they usually smile and say something to the effect of "great vacation" or some similar thing. Then i tell them i am going there to bring the salvation message of Jesus Christ and Him crucified to the souls on the streets. They are polite, but i can tell they wonder "what in the world for?" Some of these people are Christians, some are not. Most just do not get the concept of bringing Jesus with you wherever you go. Walking in the power of the Holy Ghost in each moment. Loving God so much you would die to further the kingdom. But some get it. The light goes on in their hearts and minds and Jesus finds another temple to dwell in, another worker for the harvest, and the angels in Heaven rejoice. For that ONE soul i would go anywhere God wants, it is all worth it for the ONE that gets it and receives Jesus precious gift of salvation. It is all worth it. Amen.
i have been building relationships with the homeless in downtown Santa Rosa. My heart has been broken for these lost sheep. i love them and i will do all i can to bring Jesus to as many souls as God puts before me. Thank you Jesus.
i will be at Mardi Gras from 15-21 February. i ask you to stand with me in prayer while i am gone. For God to use me in a mighty way and to give me the Holy boldness i need to meet each divine appointment He puts before me. Thank you for praying, it means a lot to me. i would also ask if you can pray about helping me defray some of the costs of going to Mardi Gras. i really need your prayers first and anything else is a bonus. Thank you so much and God bless you.
"Ye that love the Lord, hate evil. He preserveth the souls of the saints, He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked." Psalms 97:10
