BIKE WEEK AFTERTHOUGHTS

So many....


One note on the so called, self professed Christians and Christian bikers we met at Bike Week. There were many who professed to "know Jesus", "go to church," "been saved," "i know where i am going," etc. They were certainly not representing The Lord. i can't imagine really Knowing Him and tossing Him aside for some temporary worldly pleasure. The Bible says:

"For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them." 2 Peter 2:20-21

and again,

"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, whichcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like of the which i tell you before, as i have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." Galatians 5:19-2


This is clear and true. This is the living Word of God. This is the message i want these people to get. If your soul is demanded of you tonight, where would you go???? Are you serving Jesus or Satan, are you going to heaven or hell???? This is what i dedicate my life to. Bringing souls to Jesus, to His saving love, to a broken heart of repentance because they offended our God.

"Now i rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance, for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of, but the sorrow if the world worketh death." 2 Corinthians 7:9-10
