New Mexico/Texas
i arrived in Amarillo about 6pm last evening and had dinner with Pastor Don, Robin, Madison and Elva. i have never been to a Cracker Barrel, so we went to one. We had a great time. We talked until midnight about God and His word. Amen.
i will be here until Monday morning. The drive so far has been wonderful. God is great. i was thinking about the stark difference between the flat, shrubby and rocky, desert-like look of Eastern New Mexico and the mountainous, steep cliff, red rock look of Western New Mexico. Both are beautiful with their own unique features. It reminds me of the parable of the sower in Matthew 13:3-23. We sow the seeds of the cross of Jesus and his saving love and each heart receives it or not. But we keep going because we love Hom and do not ever, ever want to be displeasing to Him. Amen...
When i arrived in Amarillo, i was waiting for Pastor Don, Robin and Madison to come lead me to their house and a van pulled up to me. I was n the Wal-Mart parking lot. A man said he was low on gas and needed to get to Kansas. He said he was an Air Force Vet too. We talked a bit about where we were stationed, our jobs, and i gave him $5 for gas. About that time my escort arrived and i went with Robin and Madison to the house. Pastor Don stayed and ministered further to the man. We can pray for him, his name is Bernard. He needs to come back to Jesus.
love you all. God bless you. More soon.....
