NEW ORLEANS
Hey, Hey you all!!! i am in New Orleans now. i left Amarillo on Thursday morning at about 9am. i stopped for gas before i left town, and after gassing up the RV wouldn't start. Pastor Troy's brother, Ray Jr. came and changed all my belts. Robin's brother Mark came to help and i hung out with Robin, Madison and Amy(Mark's wife). Changing the belts was something i should have done before i left home, but.... The belts had been squeaking since i left, and it seems that when i came into Amarillo, i heard something give and the squeak in the belts was gone.... Well, that was the alternator belt. Anyway, i have new belts now and i am sailing across the country, amen. i even have air conditioning now!! It just started working after Ray Jr. changed all the belts.
Granny Tow's funeral was very moving. It was Wednesday. Pastor Troy brought the word and was very sensitive and loving. There were hearts that came to the Lord. We had a meal after the services. The family was together and celeberated her life and the seeds sowed in her life. It was great to see everybody. There were so many generations that were there. Praise God.
"Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole heart."
Psalm 119:2
i had a wonderful time with Pastor Don, Robin and Madison. They are an encouragement to me in many ways. It was great to fellowship and spend time together. To be in the word together and search out His truth. God blessed us with some extra time and i was also blessed by time with Mom and Dad Bohn. It was such a joy to be with them during this time. i am so blessed to have such a loving family in the Lord. God has given me such joy in my heart and life. God bless them.
My drive has been really great and God blessed. Just to see the changing scenery as i go is a wonder. God is so good. i drove pretty much straight thru from Amarillo to New Orleans. i stopped at midnight Thursday and slept til 3:30am and again from 6am to 7am. i arrived here about about 4pm on Friday. As i entered Lousianna, the scenery became so green and so beautiful. It has all been beautiful in the way God has set it all up, but here there is so much greenery and water. The waterways are like you see on tv. You expect aligators to be coming out all over. The bridges are long, one was 18 miles over the water with trees, moss and stumps on each side.
Last night we all started out at a ministry house called Jesus Miracle Power. Pastor Don preaches here on Tuesday mornings and Friday nights. Last night Pastor Troy brought the word. A power packed message. We had worship, fellowship and the word, it was a good time. Then we went out to Jackson Square to bring the Word. We had a good group. Pastor Troy, Billy and Rose Mcinroy, Pastor Don and Sebrina, Pastor Terry and Jeff, Thomas Derrick, Boogaloo, Emit and Wanda, and Alfred. Right at the get go there was a Tarot card reader named Audrey with her two beautiful young boys. Pastor Troy brought her the word and she folded up her table, tablecloth with cards and all, got rid of it all and came to Jesus. Amen. i had a nice talk with her and eventually someone walked her home. She told me that she knew the devil was keeping her from doing what she should be doing. She is planning on going back to school. Amen. A group of us started out at Cafe du Monde and three of the waitress were prayed for and ministered to. Praise God, alleluia, amen.
i have some pictures to post but i am not on my computer right now. i will post them as soon as i can. i love you all very much and miss you. i am keeping you in my heart and prayers. God bless you all, i will write again soon.
