ANCIENT WORDS

Hello to everyone. i have not written for a few day and there is something on my heart. i am now looking for a job here in Florida. This has been a pretty great experience for me. One of growth in the Lord and one of ministry and growing of my faith. There is nothing in this world like true faith in the Lord. The true moral conviction of the truthfulness of God. When you believe God IS, When you believe He is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega of everything, when you believe you live move and have your being in Him, everything is encompassed in that. Every aspect of your life is His. What a blessing that is. What a joy. And the coolest thing is that it is available to every living breathing person on this planet. Wow!! Just think what our world would be if everyone were to know Jesus and truly believe. Well, i can dream, can't i? i can pray.

So, jobwise, i applied at Hawaiian Tropic, the suntan lotion company. One of the orientation women and i got in a conversation and i ministered to her and invited her and her daughter to beach church. It was pretty cool. i also may work at a women's shelter at nights and weekends. i meet with that woman on Wednesday. i applied at all the large gas station/travel centers also. Josiah, i applied at Loves!!! Ok, that is the worldly job picture.

Back to faith and love of God. My favorite subject!! Can you tell? Here is what i am thinking. In a moment of Grace from God, one of the many He will afford people, in one moment a window to the heart opens, a person will grab onto Jesus and all He did for us on the cross. This person will realize His sinfulness and how he has displeased God. Here is the place of Godly sorrow (2 Corinthians 7:9-10) and the birth of faith (the moral conviction of the truthfulness of God) and the fear of God (the moral dread of being displeasing to God). Here is the place of true repentance (2 Peter 3:9). The moment God waits for and longsuffers for. Here is the place where the person turns 180 degrees and walks away from their past sinful life. Here is the place where the sin nature is separated from the new believer, the new saint. This place in time where life begins anew in Christ Jesus, a dying on His cross to live in Him. All glory to God. AMEN.

Now what? Do we still sin, sure, but we are in Jesus. NOW The Word, the living word of God must be realized as our source of strength. The Holy Bible, the words of life and truth, God breathed (2 Timothy 3:16). These words are alive and living and the guide to our whole life on earth. They teach us to live, to pray, to sing, to dance, to sorrow, to joy, to take every thought captive, to follow Jesus. They are life itself to us. The Word of God is comforting, inspiring, life giving, sanctifying, cleansing, fulfilling. i could give you scripture references till the cows come home, but it is better for you to search them out. Salvation comes to us at a great price and when the Holy Ghost abides in us, the living tabernacles, the earthen vessels that God pours the Holy Spirit in (Acts 1:8), then the word is alive for us to live for Jesus. It will flow in, out, and through us, the word is the Sword of the Spirit... (Ephesians 6:17), sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Now we can bring Jesus to everyone and bear fruit, AMEN. Fruit to live and bear fruit and others also will bear fruit. Praise God. God is almighty and great, awesome and so good. Alleluia, amen.

When we begin to read and hide God's word in our hearts, we begin to know God's heart. We begin to see as He sees and want to do what Jesus did. His word is life and power to the believer. It is a wonder and a wonderful gift. There comes and urgency and compassion upon the believer to reach the lost when we see what an eye-blink this life is, what a lie Satan is feeding it. When we see what God's heart is for all people, His desire that none be lost. The truth is that so many are lost. That when we believers pray, our prayers for the lost have got to be for a conviction of the Holy Spirit on their heart, for that moment of the grace of God to come upon them for that Godly sorrow to repentance and salvation. That they cry out to the Lord. Because blessings prayed on a lost soul are not recognized by God (Malachi 2:2, Proverbs 28:9). We learn in the Word how to pray, how the prayers of the righteous availeth much (James 5:16, Proverbs 15:29). Honoring God is worth the wait here on earth, God is interested in every area of our lives and is still at work to complete His plan of salvation...There is so much to learn and in our lifetime we will never learn it all, but this is a beginning in finding the unsearchable riches of God. AMEN.
