WHICH LAW ARE YOU UNDER??

"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:2

Free...eleutheroo.....free from the yoke of the sin nature's dominion over our life. Free from bondage to the sin nature. Liberation from that to which we were born.

All of us are under the law. We are either under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, or under the law of sin and death.

We are all born under the law of sin and death, in the sin nature. Many in this world are still on this path. With the fall of Adam and Eve, with their free-will choice to rebel against their perfect Father God, this is how we all now enter the world. ("For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23) Sin and death, the sin nature, entered into the world in the fall. So, we know the evil we do and we know how subtle Satan can be. The Spirit wars against the flesh and without the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ all would deserve to and go to Hell. Many are false doctrine Christians following the doctrines of devils, 1 Timothy 4:1. Do not be deceived, they are out there. Wolves in sheep's clothing leading the ignorant astray, Matthew 7:15. The ignorant are the wide gaters on a path to destruction. Few will even find the narrow way, the straight gate, Matthew 7:13-14. They may have said a contrived or rehearsed prayer and think that is the end all to be all. They do not know Jesus and make no effort to know Him by reading His word. We all must be aware in these dark and treacherous days and those to come. In our sin we can justify anything, and i mean anything. Each of us have our own weaknesses that Satan uses to keep us from our God, to draw us away. Do not think because we read the word, we pray, go to church, fast, worship, help the needy, witness among the lost, preach to the nations, or any number of things we can convince ourselves of, that we are great Christians, that we are not vulnerable to the wiles and trickery of Satan. Do not think yourself exempt and on a free ride to heaven. For there is the downfall of man. We do all we do because of Jesus, for Jesus, through Jesus, and not one iota, one bit, for us or by our own power. Each day we are crucified in the flesh with Christ, renew our minds, pick up our cross and go, so we can live with Him in the vision of eternity now, in the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

Believers are disciplined (taught) by the Lord and will not be condemned with the world. By our union with Christ through faith (the moral conviction of the truthfulness of God) we are secured. So, what do we choose? The flesh or the Spirit, the old or the new nature, corruption or grace? To which of these do we give priority, by which are we ruled? The way of salvation was opened to the sinner by the blood of Jesus. Which way do our thoughts move with most pleasure? Which way go our plans and contrivances, our justifications? Are we most wise for the world, or for our souls? "She that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth", 1 Timothy 5:6. A sanctified (holy) soul is a living soul, and that life is peace. The carnal mind is an enemy to God. We may know our real state and character by inquiring whether we have the Spirit of God and Christ, or not. "Ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit...", Romans 8:9. Having the Spirit of Christ, means having a change of mind more liken to the mind and heart that was in Christ Jesus, and is to be shown by a life and conversation suitable to his commands and example.

Here is Victory.. Victory in Christ Jesus.
Jesus ALONE satisfied the debt of sin.
Jesus ALONE broke the yoke of the sin nature's dominion over us.
Jesus lived, died, rose and is coming back for us. Amen.

Get to know Jesus in His word. Do not compromise, walk in victory. Satan only has as much power in our lives as we give him. It is all a challenge, living for Him, bringing Him to the lost, bringing the cross, the universal sign of hope to a dark and dying world, but there is no other life, no other way if you follow Him. Give it all up, forget the past and live this day for God. Amen.

Hosea 4:6 says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, i will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, i will also forget thy children."

Today the laws of the Lord are written on our hearts. The power of the Holy Ghost is in us. Do not think that means we can skip the reading the word part. We must be in the word daily, there is no other way to know Jesus. Then we must take what we know to the lost. We must go. We must Go.

OK, i am going through my fiery trials, the ones the Lord promised to all believers. "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you. But rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings, that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy." 1 Peter 4:12-13

This would be impossible to explain to the unbeliever, and it is even somewhat difficult to explain to the average believer. But suffice it to say it involves a burning off of the dross and being refined in the refiners fire. i will never achieve anything in this life but that which God wants of me and i realize this with great joy and love in my heart for my Saviour. i am truly set free of the bondage of the sin nature and i press on in the high calling of Christ Jesus. Will i still fall and struggle, absolutely. But my victory was won on Calvary and my life is lived with a view on eternity, it is how i walk, how i sojourn through this life. God is altogether just and merciful and loving in all He does and does not do. i am trusting in faith in our God to provide ALL my needs as i follow Him, as i am obedient to His word. He has been there every step of the way since i left my family in California and now i take a bigger leap. i am trusting God with all my tomorrows. For those who have been with me, thank you, for those who pray for me, thank you. God bless you. May God meet all your needs as you go for Him, trusting him with all your tomorrows.
