A NEW YEAR

A blessed New Year to you all.. i pray your Christmas Season was blessed as well.

i would like to thank everyone again for the birthday and Christmas wishes. i appreciate them very much. God bless you all.

i am back in Daytona and 3 days into our prayer and fasting and pressing into God. We are back in the morning with our Bible Study. Yesterday something struck me, and it is that Jesus did not come to save us so we could keep living in the world and in sin. He came so that we could follow Him and live in righteousness, and witness to others. It is not easy, but the reward begins NOW and follows us to eternity. Too many churches are having people say a prayer with eyes closed and heads bowed and folks just think they have a free pass to heaven. They are in the world and part of it. You could never tell they have Jesus by the lives they live. How will Jesus know us if we look, act and speak like the world? When a person comes to Jesus the heavens rejoice and that person is radically changed. The worlds ways should be repulsive to him. i think with this new year, we all should do a self check on our lives, judge ourselves ( 1 Corinthians 11:31) and how we are living. Check our hearts and what we let into them (Matthew 12:34). If Jesus came today, would he find us ready???(Matthew 24:36-39) Would He know us??(Matthew 7:23)

i pray that we are cultivating a life of prayer and obedience to God and the new year finds us with new resolve to follow Him. May He reveal himself to us and may we be found ready when He comes for His church without spot or blemish (Ephesians 5:27). i am fasting and praying to get right with God, to go deeper, for Him to show me what i need to strip away and how i can better do his will and not my own. To have my wickedness and ugliness revealed so i can be clean. i seek clarity and reproof from God in my life. i pray the same for everyone. Amen, amen and amen. God bless you.
