Wow, back from the 12th annual Mardi Gras outreach to souls. Been fighting fever, headache, vomiting, coughing for 3 days.. fever broke last night at 6pm and i feel weak and tired, but on the mend.

What has been rattling around in my head is Matthew 7:21-23. Does He know you? This applies to so many. Not just the truly lost, but the professed saved, of which there were so many, who are just out "having fun", or "relaxing". The question being, if you die in your drunkeness, will he know you? If you are the Sunday Christian who is hit and miss at church, that leaves it all in the building, gets a "loving feeling" moment, will he know you? Or are you lukewarm, rancid, rotten smelling, and will you be spewed out of His mouth? A fence walker? Rev 3:15-16. We should be afraid for our families, friends, neighbors, workmates, aquaintences. Afraid that they are going to hell. Afraid they do not have Jesus. People ALL seem to say they are Christians but do not have Bibles, do not know His word, do not even know Him. So how is it that He will know them? i guess in their hearts they are hoping God will just let them into heaven. But that is not how it works. So sad.
