THESE LAST DAYS

LOOK AT BLUE HEADLINE CLOSELY

This is the "live"news ticker and marquee billboard at the site of Good Morning America. just one of 100's. As 100s of 1000s of people go merrily on their way down Broadway and 48th in NYC as in the days of Lot and Noah (Matthew 24:37, Luke 17:28), the world is suffering everywhere. The world is people just like you and me, people God made to love and serve Him and each other. People he does not desire to see perish (2 Peter 3:9). As America races to put our next president in office, rumors fly of Obama's Muslim ties and his beliefs. Where are the faithful? Where are the prayerful, fasting and intimate friends of God? God has been working with me in the area of faith. We all know the verses, faith like a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20), faith, hope and love (1 Corinthians 13:13), faith hath made thee whole (Mark 10:52), ye of little faith (Matthew 16:8)...etc. But what is faith and its fruit?

One aftershock, 71,000 homes, and life goes on. Faith simply stated is this, the moral conviction of the truthfulness of God. Do we believe it? Without a shadow of a doubt, we believe in, we trust in, we rely upon, with absolute certainty, our God. Not in men, not in things, not in circumstances, and most especially not in ourselves. Obedience to God should follow faith. "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). The Word of God.

The simple truth is, God gave us all life that we did not deserve. We all deserve the eternal damnation in the lake of fire, but by His great love, grace and mercy, he sent His Son to take away all the sins of the world (John 3:16), for us, by the shedding of His blood. What are we doing with this life he gave us? The sinful state of the world grieves my heart, the atrocious evil perpetrated against children, women and men. The disregard for life, the desecration of our bodies, the temples of God (1 Corinthians 3:16-17). All will be judged by God (Matthew 12:36, Hebrews 9:27). Every idle word we speak (Matthew 12:36) will be judged. Woe to those who will suffer the wrath of God.

So, what is a faithful believer to do? Can we have true revival? Can we turn the world upside down for Christ? Yes we can. Wherever we are, amen. We must increase our faith from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18) Glory is a time when God reveals himself, such as in when a person comes to know Him. It is a weighty importance and shining majesty accompanying God's presence. We increase our faith by doing everything God asks of us no matter the cost. By going (Mark 16:15), wherever we are. By trusting him to provide all our needs no matter how large or small they seem to us (Matthew 6:33). By seeking him without ceasing in His Word, prayer and fasting.

It is our duty as servants of God, ministers of the gospel, ministers of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18) to use great plainness, or clearness, of speech. The Old Testament believers had only cloudy and passing glimpses of that glorious Saviour, and unbelievers looked no further than to the outward institution. But the great doctrine of the gospel, believe, love, obey, are truths stated as clearly as possible. And the whole doctrine of Christ crucified, is made as plain as human language can make it. Those who lived under the law, had a veil upon their hearts. This veil is taken away by the teachings of the Bible about Christ ( Corinthians 1:21). When any person is converted to Jesus, to God, then the veil of ignorance is taken away, the angels rejoice in heaven (Luke 15:7). The condition of those who enjoy and believe the gospel is joy and peace (Romans 15:13), for the heart is set free to run the ways of God's commandments. We have the light of the world (John 3:19), and with open eyes we behold the glory of the Lord, amen.

All this starts in our hearts with reading the Word of God, prayer and fasting. We will never have revival in anyone else til we have it in us. Time is short the days are evil (1 Timothy 4:1-2, 2 Timothy 3:1-7). To walk daily with Jesus we must know him, wherever we are, whatever we are doing, there is nothing as important as intimately knowing Jesus, amen (John 17:3). Ahh, life eternal, amen. Praise God. ALL Glory and Honor, and power and praise be unto Him. Worthy is the Lamb.
