TO MY YOUNG BROTHERS AND SISTERS

Lately i have been seeing and hearing things about the young people i love that are very alarming. Things that grieve my heart and i know they grieve God's. This is directed at my young brothers and sisters...Dominic, Jeremy, Thomas, Sandra, Mat, Max, Brenda, Sophie, Hezekiah, Josiah, Cameron, Caleb, Chris, John, just to name a few...and all the teen to twenty-somethings that read this. i want to first tell you all that i love you. Not the mushy emotional kind of love you are used to from each other, that kind does not last. But the kind of love that will be there for eternity, that can be counted on, that is from God. i love you and our God with all my heart. i love him because he first loved me..(John 3:16, 1 John 4:19), i love him by Keeping His commands (John 14:15), i love him by loving Him and my neighbor (Matthew 19:19), and by laying down my life for my friends (John 15:3) when called to do so...amen. i do love you guys and i pray for each of you daily. Remember, while Gods message to man is one of Love, there are also very real warnings and eternal consequences for sin.

You all are not kids anymore. You are the teens and twenty somethings that need to step up and lead the way in this dark and dying world. You cannot have it both ways. You cannot love God and the world (James 4:4). You cannot sin and think just because you said a prayer once or go to church on Sunday or youth group, that God will wink at your sin. "The wages of Sin is death.... "(Romans 6:23) and if you are caught in your sin when Jesus returns, He will say to you, "Get thee away from me, i never knew you" (Matthew 7:23) NEVER knew you. Sound harsh? Well, how harsh was Jesus dying on the cross? FOR US. FOR ALL OF OUR SIN. Why is it you cannot spend this eye-blink vapour of a life serving Him so you can live with him in eternity? Getting to know your personal saviour? Seems you would rather spend your life satisfying the Lust of the Flesh, the Lust of the Eyes and the Pride of Life for Satan, and in preparation for Hell. How sad. " For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. " 1 John 2:16

These three things cover all sin and will get you an eternity in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone where you will be eternally tormented. Tormented...this means tortured, beat to death...forever and ever. (Revelation 20:10-15), Let me tell you something. This world belongs to Satan. We as followers of Christ are in the world but not of it. Get in the Word. You guys write cuss words, provocative words...sensual words, and say them..let me tell you that one day you will die, and you will give an account for every idle word that you have said (Matthew 12:36). God is not fooling around. There is joy and peace and eternal life for his followers, but eternity in hell is just as real for those who turn their backs on him or reject him, or are living lukewarm lives (Revelation 3:16) or defiling the temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:16-17) or are in the world..."if you deny him, he will deny you before the father" (Matthew 10:33).

When we willingly partake in it....."Know ye not that the unrighteous (the sinner) shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators (illicit sexual intercourse, same sex, with animals, anything outside of the marriage covenant) nor idolaters (anyone or anything you put before God), nor adulterers (sex with the spouse of another), nor effeminate (sins of the flesh), nor abusers of themselves with mankind. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

and.."For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience." Ephesians 5:5

This Nation of ours, once one nation under God, is not so any longer...In my life, 1/2 a century, i have seen the deterioration and slide into sin that will surely bring God's wrath. He will not much longer tolerate the open disregard of his love toward us, the hypocritical way of living in sin 6 days and 23 hours of the week and then singing to him and putting up with him for one hour on Sunday. Or thinking one week at camp can last all year. Wow, how prideful, ungrateful and unloving to think God can be manipulated in such a way, what false humility. God will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7) and will not always strive with man..(Genesis 6:3).

In the days of Noah, the days of Lot (Matthew 24:37-39, Luke 17:26-29), and now today, Satan is running the world. You kids are distracted and entertained to death, literally. You are spiritually dead. As everyone goes about their business as usual, Jesus will come like a thief in the night. Gay marriage, murder with no conscience, drinking, lusting, sexual immorality of all kinds, drugs, no modesty at all, adultery, throw away relationships and marriages, haters of God, spiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, world hunger, famine, earthquakes, tornado's, hurricanes, floods....you name it...How long before God lets America fend for itself and turns His back on the unrighteous? (Romans 1:21-32, 2 Timothy 3:1-5), It will happen you know. It is just a matter of time. You go ahead and laugh all you young who think you have plenty of time, all you scoffers who think you know all the answers, but as Satan digs his claws deeper and deeper into you...you will have a hard time finding your way back.

One last thing...you are all old enough to be reading your Bibles daily, to be praying and even fasting on occasion. The world needs Godly youth to go and take the Gospel so heaven will be full of saints and hell empty of sinners.. As far as relationships go, you have been brought up in a world of lies. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that dating is the way to find a husband or wife. Dating is typically based on fleshy and worldly desires and not God's. This path only leads to hurt, brokenness, emotional scars and rejection. Marriages that end up on the garbage heap. God's plan for each of us is to know Him well enough, to love him enough, to trust, have faith and hope and love, and then He will provide the perfect choice for you when you are ready and you pray to Him. God chose Adam's mate and God chose Isaac's mate. Read Genesis 24:12-27 ...Rebekah was obedient to God's choice and Issac loved her. They were truly together "till death do us part". God truly does have your best interests at heart if you just give him the time of day. If you get into His word, study it, pray and get to know him so he can guide your life. Because He can do a much better job than you can. Seek Him now while there is time..
