NO TWO WAYS ABOUT IT

The way i see it, there are Saints and Sinners. Those saved by the blood of Jesus, and those who are habitually living a sinful lifestyle; the just and unjust. Those who are lost, dead and dying, and those who bring the truth in love to them.

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit" 1 Peter 3:18

That is my take on the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. He died for us all. Does that mean we saints are weak and timid, no it does not. We can bring God's word with a boldness and frankness that comes from having an intimate ralationship with our God. The truth we know can hurt and ruffle more than a few feathers, that we have all seen. The truth lays bare a mans soul.

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

Each divine appointment we make with each lost individual is unique and must have at its core the love of God. The word must always be brought with the love of Jesus for the lost, dead and dying in this world.

Romans 1:4-6 says that we are called as Paul was called. We have power according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection of Jesus. Here it is..

"And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection of the dead, By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations for his name. Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ." Romans 1:4-6

We wield the power unto salvation (Romans 1:16) in love. Because we believe that Gods desire is that none should perish(2 Peter 3:9). Will we disagree, yes, will we be hated(John 7:7), yes, but our response is always one of love(Matthew 5:44, Amos 5:15, Matthew 22:39, John 15:13 etc.) to the laying down of our lives.

Those who will seek and love that which is good, may help to save our landand the world from ruin. It is right for us to plead God's spiritual promises, to beseech him to create in us a clean heart, and to renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10). The Lord is ever ready to be gracious to the souls that seek him; and then piety and every duty will be attended to. We need to be of pure heart when we reach out to the lost and for no other motive than the love of God flowing through us for their salvation. God's judgments had often passed by the sinful, but now they shall pass through them.

THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE. JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY. For some people we may be the one and only time they hear the message. Children are apt to be struck with novelty, but do not act like them. Christians should be like children, without guile and malice. They should be very skilful as to the word of righteousness, and not the arts of mischief. Always bring the truth plainly and steadfastly.

"AND THIS IS LIFE ETERNAL, THAT THEY MIGHT KNOW THEE THE ONLY TRUE GOD, AND JESUS CHRIST WHOM THOU HAST SENT." JOHN 17:3
