FOREVER AND EVER AMEN (pt. 2)

As i continue to dig into the word about eternity and how to live that right now, here are more thoughts. More and more i see that there is only a remnant(Romans 9:27, 11:15) that will be saved...there is so much work to do and so little time.

In the world today, priests, pastors and professing every day Christians, are stumbling blocks and are horrible examples. We dishonor the name of God. We blemish the sacrifice God made of His Son. Honor sinners over the righteous and justify sin. We have forsaken God and are broken cisterns, holding no living water. Read Malachi sometime. This prophet was talking to the house of Israel, but it fits our world today. A world with no fruit, compromising and fitting into the world. Why?

"For behold the day cometh that shall burn as an oven, and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble, and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. BUT, unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall." Malachi 4:1-2

We need to wake up, sound the alarm (Ezekiel 3:17-21), live this life like it makes a difference to our eternal soul and others, because it truly does. Strip off the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life (1 John 2:15-16-ALL sin is found here)...If we are not dressing, thinking, speaking, acting, living for GOD FIRST in our lives, then we are not living for God or eterninty. If God is not the first thought when we wake, are dressing in the morning, or deciding what to do, or what to say, before anything or anyone else, then we are not living for him. He has got to be first, all in all. If not, we are living for ourselves and that is just another way of saying we are living for the devil.

"Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead and Christ shall give thee light." Ephesians 5:14

"Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another, and the Lord hearkened and heard it, and a book of rememberance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and thought upon His name. And they shall be mine saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when i make up my jewels and i will spare them as a man spareth his own son that serveth him." Malachi 3:16-17

Think upon him always...do not tarry, do not turn to the left or the right, think on Him all the time...it is a matter of life or death. Build each other up and tell each soul God puts in our path of the saving cross of Jesus. Every day, every moment is a moment lived for God or the devil, amen, choose God. Because the choice is truly ours to make.

"Thou tellest my wanderings, put thou my tears into thy bottle, are they not in thy book?" Psalm 56:8

"But exhort one another daily while it is called To day, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." Hebrews 4:13

Our worship of God is in all we do, say, think, our whole life and being is an act of worship to our God. Worship him with our life.

"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. " John 4:23

"Give unto the the Lord the glory due unto His name, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness" Psalm 29:2

Are we living holy lives as he is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16)? Are we living truthful lives, are we living loving and righteous lives, are we living for eternity right now? If not, we need to be. We need to be studying the Word of God to show ourselves approved, true servants of our God (2 Timothy 2:15). Do we know the truth? Do we know who he is and what he wants of us? Are we praying, to hear his voice and obey? How can we ever walk in the power of the Holy Spirit if we are not walking in the light of Jesus (which is Jesus and every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God)? We never will without Him and dying to this world and ourselves, picking up the cross and following Him...every moment of our journey to eternity...amen, so be it, amen.
