A REMNANT

i am truly learning that i am here right now, saved by the grace of God because he did not leave me or forsake me. i am a remnant that made it out of false teaching and religion to the true and living church of Christ that is his body. He called me from a young age to be set apart, holy and righteous, and He was patient and he heard the prayers of those who diligently prayed for me.

i am going through a Leadership Discipleship right now here in Florida. It is a true eye opener into the way the Body of Christ should function. The scriptures about fitly joined together and edifying and building up (Ephesians 4:12-14) each other are coming alive for me on a day to day basis with my family here. It is not about the title, as many churches make it but being sensitive to the Holy Spirit and God's leading to work in your giftedness at any given time. How many of us are actually working for God in our giftedness? How many are even being asked what that is or are sensitive to it?

i have been a teacher of children for many years, but God in his perfect wisdom is using me in other areas of my giftedness right now. i am learning to be a true servant of God in many aspects of many gifts or ministries. There are many facets of each gift or ministry that are part of what God has deposited into us. We may not have them all, but each is needed so the Body of Christ can live and move and have our being in Christ. So we are alive and well and serving Him in all we do and desire to do. So we can move with the mind of Christ. When we recognize Christ in us and the gifts inherent to us, what great joy it is. It is such a blessing and very freeing to know God and His Son so well and to be able to know myself in Him better. It is so exciting. Amen.

The Lord is also dealing with me in some personal issues that are long overdue. i am learning to be more responsible and faithful in certain areas.

We are also studying the Book of Revelation, the unveiling of Jesus Christ. i have gotten a deeper look into the rise of Roman Catholicism (Revelation 2:18-29) and the history of the Godless rituals. i am truly a remnant coming out of that Church era and saved by the grace and mercy of God. It is a lot to go into right now, but i will give more insight into that later.

i just wanted to give a brief update and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

On a personal note: i still do not have the funds to get to California for Christmas and if the Lord puts it on any one's heart to help with that, i would greatly appreciate it. Last i checked, airfare was about $400 and i have $100....
