HIS MERCY ENDURETH FOREVER
"OUR TESTIMONY NOW, WILL BE LEFT BEHIND".
As i come back from a trip home to visit my family, i am reminded of God's mercy and how it works in our lives, and how his mercies are always new every morning (Lamentations 3:19-25) and how his mercy endureth forever (Psalm 118:1-4,29,64; Psalm 136:1-26; 1 Chronicles 16:41; Psalm 106:1; Psalm 107:1; 2 Chronicles 5:13,7:3; Jeremiah 33:11; etc..). Forever. This means more time than we can wrap our human minds around. It always was, is, and shall be.
My family is in need of prayer. For the saved, the strength to stand on the truth they know, and gain a deeper understanding and revelation of God; and for the unsaved, salvation, that God in his mercy reveal his son to them. They all need Gods love and mercy. It must come through us right now, we who claim to be Christian and who claim to love God and our neighbor (Matthew 22:36-40). We need to see with the eyes of compassion of Jesus (Matthew 9:36-37) and love them and be merciful as he is merciful. Our testimony of what God has done and is doing in our lives can and will bring solidarity among the people. The word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11) is God's word, it is powerful and true to the pulling down of strongholds(2 Corinthians 10:4). Either now or later. My prayer is they get it now rather than later, but God in his great mercy will work it later if needs be. i will also promise to pray for all your families as well as mine, amen. i will lift them up daily to the Lord God, the almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen, amen.
When the church age comes to an end (Revelation 4:1) at the rapture or catching up of it to God, what will remain? God's mercy will remain forever...he said it in his word so we can know it is true. When we are gone, the truth of our testimony will remain. The living truth of God's word will come to the minds of those left behind. Our spoken word of testimony in the hearts of our loved ones, what we have written down, the written word of God, these will stand.
In God's great mercy, the time of tribulation upon the earth will still be a time of salvation of men. Will their end be different, yes it will. Probably martyrdom and great pain, but they can be saved because God in His great mercy desireth that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). In Revelation 7 it speaks of the 144,000 sealed evangelists from all the tribes of the children of Israel. ALL the tribes of the children of Israel (v4). Even the tribes that rebelled in some way are included, the remnant of them grafted into the whole of the 144,000, into other tribes. They will be the ones to bring salvation to the tribulation world. God is merciful, praise God. Praise God that he loves us more than we can ever love ourselves and others. Praise God for his perfect plan, praise God.
Doesn't that bring joy to your heart? It does mine. To know there is hope for those left behind, for those who get it late, for those we pray for and love right now. Amen.
As world situations of war, strife and tensions escalate, we are to keep focused on God, on prayer, and on his word, on doing his word, on living it and sharing it with as many as we can. We are to help all people hide His word in their hearts (Psalm 119:11), for the day is coming when we will all need it. Show mercy with cheerfulness (Romans 12:8) and the rewards thereof (Psalm 37:25-26; Proverbs 14:21, 21:21, Matthew 5:7). God be with you all...amen
