THE LEGISLATION OF GOD

This interesting yet telling term was introduced in our Revelation study this morning. Legislation is typically an idea that started somewhere, and written as a bill, is argued before the Legislature, possibly amended and passed into law by majority vote.

From the fall of man to now, the louder majority seems to be one that is relegating God into a smaller and smaller box. Hearts are growing colder and harder, some almost impossible to penetrate with the truth. Amending God out of the Constitution, Legislating God out of our daily life. Promoting all things evil to replace all things good. Pushing hard to stop the flow of the absolute truth and the moral absolutes of God in favor of an "anything goes" society. It used to be subtle, but now it is direct and blatant. God is not first anywhere, in the heart, at home in families, at school, in the workplace, in conversations; No, God is not first much of anywhere anymore but in the remnant He is coming for. Our Government is a reflection of the Godless majority of our nation and it shows. And, "The end justifies the means," which in this case will be eternal damnation and separation from God, after a life on earth separated from him. That is the end waiting for today's "Moral Majority." Not moral at all really. Call it what it is, it is evil. An evil and perverse generation following thousands and thousands of evil and perverse generations.

What is the bright side? The light in the darkness? It is Jesus. Jesus who is the victory already won. Jesus who was and is and ever shall be. We win. Stand strong and bold and courageous and unmovable in Him, amen.
