COMPARTMENTS
What are the compartments of our hearts? How big is God's compartment, and what do we hold in our hearts that we have not totally and unequivocally given over to God for healing and cleansing? For burning off once and for all. What are our doubts and fears? What do we hold against our brother secretly in our hearts? What do we worry about that cannot add one cubit to our stature? Why do we not trust God with it all?
These are very real concerns within the body of Christ. As the battle rages in the Spiritual realm for the souls of people, lost and saved, so our prayers must intensify and guarding our hearts from wicked and evil thoughts must be an urgency to us. Hearts that can either glorify God or Satan. Anything we think on that does not glorify God, glorifies Satan.
The victories in our lives come with trusting in the Holy Spirit to bring victory, we have total victory through the finished work of Jesus Christ. Victories never come by trusting the flesh, or a religious system.
Victory is in the blood of the Lamb, it is at the cross and at the empty tomb, it is in the finished work of our Lord and God, Jesus. Nothing the enemy throws at me can kill me, i can "cast down ALL vain imaginations", i can win ALL the battles in my mind, i am in Him and He is in me, on the Solid Rock i stand, and the Rock will stand. They can kill the body but they cannot kill the Holy Spirit in me, or my soul, because they belong to Jesus and they are Jesus. Amen.
Do you believe this? Really? Out of money, trust Jesus. Out of work, trust Jesus. Got no food, trust Jesus. These are needs He promises to supply to the obedient, the faithful who seek him diligently and early and first. Those that are working to hear Him and His will in their lives. Who are doing what He tells them to do to achieve these things. Do you hear Him?
But to gain access to him, we must go with clean hands and pure heart. We must be walking in holiness and righteousness, in repentance and obedience to his word, obeying his commands and precepts. We must go in fear with all sin confessed to him and repented of. We must cry out to him and he will make his dwelling place in us..
Kids on your last nerve, go to Jesus. Worried about you healing, go to Jesus. Just can't stop relying on your self, go to Jesus. Tired of drinking, smoking, lying, grumbling? He has ALL the answers we seek for ALL of life's trials, every last one of them. He has the peace that surpasses all understanding, he has the joy unending that is yours for the asking, he provides the way of escape for EVERY temptation of man. What are you waiting for?
Not sure where you are at with God? Well, take a close look at how you spend your time. What TV are you watching? What books are you reading? Where do you go? What music are you listening to? Who are the people you spend most of your time with? What words are coming out of your mouth? What do you think on most of the time? These things will tell you where your priorities are. Where your treasures are. Do all these things glorify God or Satan, because there is no middle ground, it is one or the other. Can all you think, say and do stand before a righteous and holy God? Would He approve of it all?
Where your treasure is, there your heart will be and where your soul will end up...
