THANK GOD

"i thank my God upon ever remembrance of you." Philippians 1:3

i can say i thank my God for my Jesus, and i can say i thank my God for every Brother and Sister in the Lord i have. i am thankful. Thank you Jesus. When God brings you to mind in prayer or randomly during the day, i thank God for you. Each one i pray for, each and every day.

In discipleship we have been going over the tests of God. There are many and come at various times in our lives. Testing to refine our Godly character, to burn off the dross, to mold us into the holy, righteous, perfect bride of Christ we are meant to be. Yes, in this life. In this life we can live holy, righteous and perfect lives with our eyes set upon eternity with our Lord God. We can judge the deeper meaning of every conversation or situation and bring God's will and glory to them all. We can walk in the Holy Spirit now in preparation to live in His presence in eternity. Easy? Not always. Possible? Yes, with each choice we make He is here to help us.

With our eyes, focus, and view on eternity, we live this vapour of a life, here on this earth, knowing our Lord deeper in prayer and the word, and we preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus. Someday soon Jesus will be back for his Church. Those who are without spot or blemish will be going with Him to reign as Kings and Priests in His eternal kingdom. Like the five wise virgins in Matthew 25:1-12, i want to be ready.

i hope while i am here i am able to bring as many souls as possible to a decision for Christ and they are spared the alternative. The reality and finality of an eternity of suffering day and night, forever and ever, in torture, torment and pain that awaits the rebellious rejecters of Jesus, the scoffers and mockers, fornicators and liars, etc... that will end up in the lake of fire of Revelation 20:10-15. Give it up already.. Choose Jesus, life and etenity, now.

Paul summed up his life for Christ this way.

He said we worship God in the spirit and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh. He said:

"Though i might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath wherof he might trust in the flesh, i more. Circumcised on the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin and Hebrew as touching the law, a Pharisee. Concerning zeal, persecuting the church, touching the righteousnessness which is in the law, blameless. But what things were gain to me those i counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless and i count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ jesus my Lord for whom i have suffered the loss of all things and do count them but dung that i may have Christ." Philippians 3:1-15
He was talking about his life before Christ, having lived it with zeal and to the max, his life in the flesh before he came to know our Lord Jesus Christ. But once he came to know Jesus, it was all done, all loss, all behind him. i too know what that is. i love Jesus, the old me is gone and the new me does not ever want to go back. The old life style, the old friends, the old family habits, sins and ways. They are gone forever for the sake of knowing and living forever with Jesus. i cannot ever go back to them. How can i? How can anyone? i live for Jesus and etenity now, not the flesh, this world and the ruler of this world, Satan. My God has won the victory for me and i will walk in it. Amen. i have died to the old fleshy life and my testimony has power now. "For a testament is of force after men are dead." Hebrews 9:17
