a sober attitude recognizes the difference between healthy humor and jesting and causes one to know how to properly relate to people on all levels. a jesting attitude, a spirit of constant teasing, sarcasm and cynicism toward the character or unchangeable parts of a persons life, causes people to lose respect for one that has such an attitude.
