"i have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." 3 John 1:4

"And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said For this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall cleave to his wife, and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together let not man put asunder." Matthew 19:4-6

In God's perfect plan for man, he had a perfect plan for marriage, children and families. How by his word and guidance, in his love, a godly man and woman would come together in marriage and raise godly children. But man in his disobedience has been perverting God's plans since the beginning. How sad for the world. It breaks my heart to see the children lost to a world without God.

In Jesus time, a man grew into adulthood in his family. He learned the ways of God, matured in his emotions and responsibility, and when the time came, he left his family and married the woman God had chosen just for him, to begin his own godly family. This is still how it is today in God's family. This way takes obedience unto God and family, and it takes patience. It takes trusting God with your life and knowing that God has a perfect plan just for each of us. It takes prayer and seeking God in his word. God has a perfect plan for each of us that will lead to everlasting life with Him. Open the Word of God, share it in the family, follow it through this life and into eternity. This has always been and is still God's plan but because the church has lost the truth of God in his Word, Satan has been able to deceive even those who say they are "Christian."

"Jesus saith unto him, If i will that he tarry till i come, what is that to thee? Follow thou me." John 21:27 Jesus was speaking to Peter...saying Follow me, do not be concerned what others are doing, my will for them is not my will for you, do not compare yourself to them. You, follow me. Amen.

"Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul and bind them for a sign upon your hand that they may be as a frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house and when thou walkest by the way when thou liest down and when thou risest up. And thou shall write them upon the door posts of thine house and upon the gates, that your days may be multiplied and the days of your children in the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give them as the days of heaven upon the earth. For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which i command you to do them, to love the Lord your God to walk in all his ways and to cleave unto him then will the Lord drive out all these nations from before you and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves." Deuteronomy 11:18-23

God's plan is still the same yesterday, today and as long as we have before he comes back, for marriage and raising children, but even Christians do not follow God's ways anymore. Christians today are living in compromise, following what Satan has set up as worldly standards and morals. Christian parents need to wake up and not let their children be lost to the world's standards of relationships, sex and moral degeneration. They need to see the lies of Satan all around them and protect their children from them at all costs. Every step in compromise of God's ways is a step toward eternal separation from God. To be obedient to God means to be separate from the world. It means to be set apart and holy, living for God and the day Jesus will return for his church.

Parents..please come to Jesus and teach your children, grow in him together..while there is time.

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon him for he careth for you. Be sober be vigilant because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour." 1 Peter 5:6-8

The devil is truly our adversary and while parents sleep and live by this worlds standards, He is sneaking in like a thief and stealing the children little by little until they are his and their hearts become hardened to God. Children with hard hearts, this very day, go about to rob, kill and destroy without a bit of remorse, no sorrow over their sin. Satan is here to steal, kill and destroy and he is doing it in our children.

"The thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy, i am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10

Jesus came to give life but Satan is here to kill your children. This is the choice laid before all people. Jesus or Satan.

Children growing up in this world are bombarded with ungodly influences. Satan is all over the schools, TV's, computers, you name it. A parents job is not to be their child's best friend by letting them be part of the world. A parents job is to love them as Jesus does, be a teacher of Gods ways for them, protecting them, building them up in the Lord, because the children are not our own but God's. In the end, when all is said and done and a child leaves his parents home, he is either following God or the lies of Satan, and the parents will answer to God for how they raised them, how they shepherded them.

"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body but he that commiteth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you which ye have of God and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are Gods." 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (1 Corinthians 6:13-20)

Each of us that belong to Jesus were bought with his blood sacrifice on that cross. The cross that is the instrument of our death unto him. When we come unto him we are no longer our own, we no longer cater to the fleshy desires of this world that once held us in bondage (1 JOhn 2:15-16) but we are completely and totally servants of the most high God, doing his will in our lives for the benefit of others. The Holy Spirit of God dwells within us and guides us and tells us what the Father says. We and the Father are one, one Spirit, forever. We belong to God. This is not a relationship to be treated casually, but with great love and care.

If we sin sexually, outside the marriage covenant, we become harlots, adulterers against God. Our bodies are for the Lord, not ourselves, they are holy, why would we defile the house of God? Why would we not take time to know the God who loves us so much so as not to sin against him?

Please parents... protect and teach your kids the Word of God. Teach them the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). They have a fighting chance if they are Spirit filled children of God. Wearing the full armour God provides (Ephesians 6). If you do not know God's way, then seek someone who can disciple you, teach you and guide you so your children are not lost.

"There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 16:25

These are perilous times (2 Timothy 3:1-6) and it is urgent that the Word of God is hidden in each child's heart. Know what your church is teaching them on Sundays or Wednesdays or whatever day, do not leave the teaching of your children solely in others hands, do it yourselves, you the parents are their first line of defense against the world and the evils thereof.
