LAST DAYS

"Knowing this first that there shall come in the last days scoffers walking after their own lusts and saying Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation." 2 Peter 3:3-4

These scoffers are all around us, just take a look. How many people do you know who depend on God for all their needs, who believe and trust in God, the Bible and every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God? Where are those who desire to be holy and righteous, who desire to please God above all else? Do they not instead when trouble or need arises expect men and government to supply all their needs and fix their problems? Do they not even deny the existence of God, his power, and the near and imminent return of his Son, Jesus?

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent (without self-control), fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof, from such turn away. " 2 Timothy3:1-5
