LUKE 16:24-31

24 “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame."

- The rich man was in hell tormented. (Continue to read)

25 "But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented." 

- Lazarus in Hell and the other one in Heaven. (Keep reading)

26 "And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us."

- In other words, there is no purgatory.... (Get's better)

27 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment." 

- Lazarus learned the hard way that HELL is real and now he doesn't want his brothers to go there. (Keep going)

29 "Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them."

- God told Him that they have preachers and the bible.

30 "And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent."

+Does not mean to believe in GOD "your own way".

- It literally means to turn your back to sin and turn to GOD.

31 "But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’”

- God said... If they don't listen to the preachers and the pastors, neither will they believe if someone rise from the dead.

- Listen, to have a relationship with God is more that just a magical prayer, its a lifetime commitment.

- You want to have a real relationship with God today? Just speak to him in your own words today and ask Jesus to come in your heart and be your only Lord and Savior.

- Then find a good bible teaching church and make new friends!

HELL is a real place and I'm just one of those preachers that don't want you to go there! I love you..
