FIGHT FOR OUR CHILDREN

"Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour:" 1 Peter 5:8

My heart is so burdened for ALL our children. Every day at an alarming rate, all around this country and the world, the majority of children, all ages, are dying. They are dying spiritually and physically. Children are being snatched up from their homes, streets and schools for ungodly, evil reasons. Children are in open rebellion, children are running away into a dying, godless, sinful world... i know the answer is JESUS, i know they need JESUS to live. It is all so heart-breaking and sad. Satan is after our children, our families.

"But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed and keep all my statutes and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die." Ezekiel 18:21

GOD has given us everything we need to live and not die. He has given us the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6), in His SON, JESUS CHRIST (John 3:16-19, John 1:1-5), He has given us His written Word (Hebrews 4:12, Psalm 119:10-11). GOD has warned us about Satan and the battle we face here in this life (Ephesians 6:12, 2 Corinthians 10:3-6), and He has given us the whole armour we need to battle Satan and all the lusts of this world (Ephesians 6). AND yet, the majority of professing Christians take such little time to know Him, to live for Him 24/7, or to teach their children how to live for HIM. We have no excuses.

"The thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy, I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. " John 10:10

Even our children at home, who are "good kids", are filling their ears and eyes with the damning junk on television and in video games. They are being desensitised to sin and death by a lost and dying world. TV shows are lewd, crude, full of offensive language, and they are watching, thinking it is ok because we let them, because all their friends are watching and their "Christian" parents are watching. Video games are full of violence, which they readily admit are desensitising. They are listening to lustful and sinful lyrics in music and their hearts are being hardened against our holy and righteous GOD. Parents are compromised and their children are compromised, being devoured by Satan who is working overtime to destroy families and especially our children.

"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot, I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Revelation 3:15-16

Parents, the lukewarm pastors are everywhere, in the majority of churches and youth groups. They are even baptizing youth who are living in open rebellion. The entitlement mentality of the day, having most everything handed to them is also flowing like a river in our churches. Our youth are not studying to know GOD and HIs Son (Acts 17:11), or to show themselves approved (2 Titus 2:15), or repenting, dying to their flesh to live a life for and in Christ (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24), to walk in righteousness, holiness, goodness and truth. Our Christian youth have learned JESUS died for their sin, but think they can live however they choose, disregarding GOD's Word and will for their lives. There is no fire for GOD, no hunger for holiness and righteousness, because there is none at home or in the churches. It starts at home. Godly parents are the frontline on the childs battlefield.

"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled." Matthew 5:6 

We are putting ourselves in great peril if we, as individuals and families, are not in our Word, praying, fasting and seeking GOD for every little thing in our lives, EVERY DAY we live and breath. If you do not believe this, try a fast, fast for your family or your children. Fast, pray and read the WORD of GOD each day, try to reach 4 days and see if the HOLY SPIRIT does not show up and make clear to you His presence. These are perilous times (2 Timothy 3:1-7), even for the believer. Without JESUS, there is no hope.

Lord GOD, i pray for all christian families to retreat to and fight from the refuge, the rock, the strong tower of JESUS, to be ever vigilant of the battle raging all around them for their souls, their children's souls, and the souls of all. May they reach out to the children and as many souls as possible with JESUS; May they stay in their armour of GOD in this life so as to make it to eternity with You. i pray for the children who are lost and struggling and lukewarm, that GOD send mighty men and women of GOD to raise them up and teach them the WAY in this life, Lord please reveal yourself unto them in a powerful way, ignite the word hidden in their hearts, and show yoursef strong on behalf of the believers who fight for these children, who fight from the victory you have won in CHRIST JESUS; reveal yourself to our sons and daughters who are struggling in this world, and strenghten the parents; reveal to them what they need to teach their children to keep them in you. Keep our focus on you and your glory, on you as the Saviour of the world, alpha and omega, the author and finisher of our faith, always, in JESUS name, amen. Thank you JESUS, all glory be unto you forever and ever, amen.
