TRUST IN THE LORD

Trust in the Lord who gives you strength. "Offer the sacrifices of righteousness and put your trust in the Lord." Psalm 4:5
i tell the kids i teach that righteousness is "right living." This makes sense to them. Living what God tells them in the Word.

i have many brothers and sisters in Christ, my family in the Lord, who are struggling in this life. i myself am no stranger to struggles. But it is in the way we face them that truly matters. i am a prayer person. i pray for many and i pray a lot. i know God answers prayer. i also know the answer may not be what i want or in my time. But God answers and we can hear Him if we are listening. God is God and we are not. Pray (1 Thes 5:17). Thank God, praise Him, petition Him for your needs. Your families and yours. Pray, then have the absolute trust that brings you peace to know He hears you and is in absolute control. This part is hard. The patience as you pray each day for the same thing, and accepting Gods word to not worry and trust Him (Matthew 6:27). We are really not in control of anything. All we have can be taken away in an eyeblink. How would we handle it? Each day, each "thing" we have is a gift from our good and perfect Father in heaven. Wow!! Read the Word, let it change your life, introduce people to Jesus and pray. Seek Him (Matthew 6:33) Life is short and where we spend eternity is more important than this life.

In these last and dark days of the world, press in to the one who loves you more than you can know. Let Him into your heart and let His peace reign within you each step you take. Walk confidently in His presence. This life will end at an hour we do not know, but we can live with the assurance that when this life ends, we know where we will spend eternity. That we were here doing our Fathers work and that we loved Him and our neighbors. That we loved our neighbors enough to not leave them behind. What will we be doing when our Father calls us home?

To each person who knows me, know i am praying for you and i love you. This you can be sure of. But be more sure of God's love and care for you because it dwarfs mine that is like a grain of sand. There is a song i like to pray/sing. Here it is:

i need you more, more than yesterday
i need you more, more than words can say
i need you more, than ever before
i need you Lord, i need you Lord (chorus 2x)

More than the air i breath
More than the song i sing
More than the next heartbeat
More than anything

and Lord as time goes by
i"ll be by your side
cause i never want to go back
to my old life

i need you more, more than yesterday
i need you more, more than words can say
i need you more, than ever before
i need you Lord, i need you Lord

Right here in your presence is where i belong
now my broken heart has finally found a home
and i'll never be alone
(chorus)

God bless you today and always. Love God, love others, have faith, trust and go.
