BE PREPARED

Here in California, most thoughtful people have an earthquake preparedness kit in their home and emergency kits in their cars. Because, they want to be prepared for the inevitable troubles of this world. Can we professed Christians, we who claim to be saved, say the same? Are we Prepared? Clothed with the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-13) each time we leave our home and go into the world? Do we take the Sword of the Spirit with us (our Bible)? Are our hearts prepared to do battle against the prince of the world? Are we carrying on the ministry of Christ and Him crucified, that He left us over 2000 years ago? If not, why not? Are we too tangled up in this fleeting, dying, lost world to care about eternity? To care about the souls of others? Have we lost sight of the prize? i pray that we have not. That we see that we cannot leave it to the Pastors of the Churches who have turned the Gospel message of Repentance into a feel good message. Who are not equipping the saints (you and me) for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:12). The ministry is preaching The Word of God, and that word is the salvation message of Jesus Christ. You and i are responsible to bring it. People need the Word of God, they need the salvation only Jesus can give, and they need it NOW. They need the Gospel of Repentance NOW. The same message of repentance that John the Baptist preached as Jesus started His ministry (Matthew 3:1-2) is needed even more today. The Word of God is inside us and alive and true and living. Please read it, fill up on it, take it to others and introduce them to Jesus. Ask the Holy Ghost to give you understanding when you read. He will. Hell is a real place and we need to warn them all.

In high school typing class we used to type the sentence, "Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country". How appropriate is this today, NOW IS THE TIME, the whole world needs Jesus, take Him out your door to wherever you are today. Do not let Jesus return catch you unaware or unprepared, or worse, unrepentant (1 Thes 5:2). So, if you are a professed, saved Christian, you have a God commanded commission to bring the message to the lost and dying people of the world. Please Go. Please share the God of all creation with everyone. Please. Is it easy? No. Do people shun and even hate you? Yes. Is it hard when people hear and reject Him? Yes, it breaks your heart. But remember what Jesus went through for us. Obedience even to death on a cross(Philippians 2:8), the worst death imaginable in His day. Amen. BE PREPARED, to preach, and also to meet Jesus on the last day. Amen.
