WATCHMEN

In Ezekiel 33:1-9 the Bible clearly tells us (saved, professed Christians) we are watchmen. This verse applies to all Christians. We have been made watchmen for the world. We know His truth and the judgements that will come on men. We are therefore responsible to warm men and women, to seek to turn them from their evil ways, and if we do not, we will be held responsible for their final death and what they have to face. Their blood will be on our hands. Many who are warned will not listen, they will refuse to change their ways and will die in their sin. But the watchmen having warned them, will be guiltless and no blood will be on our hands.

In Romans 1:18-19 the Bible says it another way. God has chosen the preaching of the Gospel, (the cross, Christ and Him crucified), to reveal His righteousness. We face the wrath of God if we withhold the word of truth, His righteousness, that has been deposited in us. There are great consequences for knowing and not going. The message of the cross is all about Jesus, the responsibility to preach the message is all about us. The saved become the church of Christ, they are not saved to go to church. Amen..
