WHO ARE WE?
Are we saved? Are we born again into new life with Jesus Christ? If we are, then Jesus broke the yoke of our sin nature (the sinful nature we were born with and who we were before we were born again) at the Cross, Galatians 5:1. He rendered it powerless, He defeated who we were. We are now new creatures in Him, the old has passed away, we are new,
2 Corinthians 5;17. The kingdom is in us, Luke 17:21 amen. We are divine appointments, we are not looking for divine appointments. Who are we? We are ambassadors for Jesus Christ here on earth (as if God is pleading through us) 2 Corinthians 5:20. We are His representatives, we are ministers of reconciliation. He has given us the ministry of reconciliation (sharing the message of atonement made by the blood of Jesus, made on our behalf for the remission of sins, amen 2 Corinthians 5:18. We preach, and teach and disciple because it is who we are, 2 Corinthians 5:11. We are moved and stirred to carry the Lord with us and share Him 24/7. Amen.
Is this all easy? No not always. But as we keep speaking to others about Jesus, it gets easier and easier. We need to be full of the word every day to know His will and His way, to be able to hear Him when He speaks. A trip to Starbucks becomes more than a coffee run. Grocery shopping becomes a place of ministry. People all around us are dying and going to Hell. They need to hear about Jesus, to be given the chance to repent. The Lord really does tell us who to talk to, He places the lost right in front of us all the time. We just need eyes to see and ears to hear. Please study the word daily, search out what He speaks to you. Fill your heart with it. Make each moment count for Him. Amen.
Please join us each weekday morning for our study of the book of Romans... 9-10am est, 6-7am pst. i know it is early on the West Coast, but i did it when i was there... i know you can too. Get into the word and the word will get into you. Amen.. Please join us....
