GOD'S HEART

Those of you who know me, know i sold just about all my stuff, loaded up an RV(which was given to me by God's grace) and headed to Florida to serve a mighty God. i am a street missionary. i bring the salvation message of Jesus Christ to the lost wherever i am every day. i work with RAVEN Ministries. i have a Pastor. i go to church. Most churches do not recognize what we do as ministry, but it is the command of Jesus we follow in Matthew 28: 19-20 and Luke 16:15:16. We go with the compassion of Jesus as in Matthew 9:35-36. We go with the power of the Holy Ghost as in Acts 1:8. We go to save men from the wrath to come as in Matthew 3:7.

The grace of God. i have said it before, it is the divine influence of God upon the heart and the reflection of that influence, in the life. This grace, this divine influence is the moment and glory of God. The moment God comes into a life at salvation. The moment someone can see what Jesus sacrifice was all about. The moment someone can see into God's glory through Jesus Christ, can see their sinfulness and are truly repentant. The moment they grab hold of JESUS and are separated from their sin nature forever, their heart is changed and enslaved til death to Jesus in righteousness. The reflection of this divine influence in our lives is who we are in Christ Jesus. It is in the things we do for God, through Jesus because we are saved, we are His. It is having God's heart. It was God's heart that moved to give me an RV for my ministry, it was God's heart that moved to give me the means to live in my RV space one more month. When God moves the hearts of His remnant church, His saved people, Jesus is realized on this earth. We are Jesus hands and feet because we are saved, separated from our sin nature and moved unto good works. Separated, set apart and sanctified (Psalm 4:3). People can see Jesus in us. People are saved in that moment of Grace when the action and the word of God accompany each other. Their hearts can only be penetrated by the Word of God, not works alone (Ephesians 2:9). When we are filled up with the Word of God and we preach it, witness it, teach it to another, it cuts like a sword, then they too can be transformed and renewed and separated from the sin nature (Hebrews 4:12). We will always do good works when we are saved, but only the Word of God saves . With or without the stuff, Jesus Saves.

So..... even atheists are moved to good works... even unsaved professed Christians are moved to good works... even heathens and pagans and other religious are moved to good works. They are who they are without God, they do not know, they can't know, their hearts are unregenerate, hard. They are fools. The Bible teaches that the word fool connotes conceit and pride, a deficiency in judgment rather than mental inferiority. They are not stupid, hence the thinking themselves wise by worldly standards. They despise Gods wisdom and instruction in favor of mans (Proverbs 1:7). It is an abomination for them to depart from evil (Proverbs13:19). And their mouths pour out foolishness(Proverbs 15:2). In thinking themselves wise they have made themselves fools and God hath made foolish the wisdom of the world (1 Corinthians 1:20). And it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe (1Corinthians 1:21). Amen. What sets us apart is that we do works because we are saved, not to be saved, not to be good or moral, and, we always bring the saving Gospel of Jesus with the bringing of food, clothes, water and other "stuff".

This has been on my heart lately. i guess because i am now seeing it from this side. From the mission field. If we were to do a funder for "stuff", to feed, clothe and house the poor, we would rake in the dough. Piles of it. But when we ask for money to support missions and missionaries to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost, to save them from the coming wrath (Revelation 6:17) and the eternal fires of Hell, money barely trickles in. i do not get it. Especially from those who say they are Christians, saved and serving Jesus. How are we serving Him? Where is the money going? To what? Another building? More books? More jumpy houses? How are we serving Jesus? How are people getting saved? By our kind benevolent example? No, they are not. They are not being saved by anything except the Word of Jesus. We all who profess to be saved, need to be bringing the word wherever we are. We know Jesus is coming back, we know the story, we know this world is in dire need of Jesus. We know all have sinned (Romans 3:23). How can we know and not go? We are watchmen and if we do not warn them the blood is on our hands (Ezekiel 33:1-10). What are we waiting for? What? And what keeps the funds hoarded in the earthly stockpiles? What eternal good is it really doing? Each one has to ask himself, what eternal good am i really doing? Where is my treasure? Where is my heart? (Matthew 6:21)
