YOUR NEW NATURE IN CHRIST JESUS

Have you ever thought what it means to have a new nature in Christ Jesus? When Jesus sets us free, what are we free from? What has He saved us from?

That old nature, the sin nature, we were born with it. We came into the world with it, every one of us, no exceptions. Jesus came to free us from it, to free us from ourselves, to free us to choose righteousness. But what does that mean? It means we are now bondservants (Doulos) to Him til death. When God saves a person, God separates us from the sinful nature we were born with. AMEN. God hates sin, so we hate sin. We are bound to Jesus by chains of righteousness, holiness, compassion, humility, faithfulness....etc. We take the bit in our mouth, put the bridle on and God has the reins. We choose God and His righteousness. We take every thought captive and before sin can manifest itself in action in our life we are repentant and made clean. We are following Him... Amen... We are made perfect in Him as we mature in Him... it is an ongoing process til we meet hIm face to face. We are His and we want to bring as many souls with us as possible by His grace and mercy.
