BIKE WEEK 2008

Imagine this, it is Saturday morning at 9:30 am, of the busiest weekend of Bike Week, and my RV lot is emptying out. (this is really happening!) Many that came for the event are pulling out, packing up the bikes in their trailers and going home. Even two vendors at the entrance who sold tinting and bike ramps are packing it in. Ah, what a little rain can do...

"But i say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven, for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." Matthew 5:44-45

We had a beautiful storm come through yesterday and well into the night complete with thunder, lightning, heavy rain, and tornado watches. Today the sun has risen on blue skies and the wind is blowing. Everyone is scurrying to pack up and head out.....i have to tell you this too. The day God convicted me about working here parking bikes was Monday. At 4pm on Tuesday when i was supposed to start my shift, it rained and i did not have to work. i quit before my shift on Wednesday. God is good and amazing and awesome. Praise His Holy name. All Glory be to God. Amen.

Now i want to tell you about Robert. i work with Robert at the Hawaiian Tropic factory. i have been praying with him and ministering to him for a few months now. Yesterday, while the rain was falling he took a big step in his walk with God and left a sinful relationship. He was living with a girl, also working at the plant. He came to know it was sinful and God would not bless it and the Holy Spirit began to convict him. Yesterday he moved out and got his own room at another motel. (many people live in motels here, wages are low and housing expensive) He has asked God for forgiveness and repented, and now is living with God's blessing. He has begun his walk in earnest. Please pray for Robert and his future. He needs male role models, transportation and a phone. Amen and praise God.
