DO NOT BE DISTRACTED

Do not let circumstance, people, things, places, distract you from your appointed ministry, your work for God, his will for your life. God can use you right where you are for his Glory. Rich or poor, in-debt or debt-free, in prison or out, at home or away, young or old, whatever and wherever your circumstance, God is there. God is omniscient=all-knowing, omnipotent-all powerful, omnipresent=he is everywhere at once.

"Let the brother of low degree (circumstance) rejoice in that he is exalted. But the rich in that he is made low, because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat but it withereth the grass and the flower thereof falleth and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth, so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life which the Lord hath promised to them that love him." James 1:9-12

"Thou therefore my son, endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." 2 Timothy 2:3

IF we are praying, seeking his face, reading his word, fasting, and doing the last thing he told us to do. If we are walking in holiness, truth, righteousness and repentance, we can be assured of his giving us the next thing to do that will bring him glory. If we are truly in Him we shall be walking in the power of the Holy Spirit of God. If we know that every good thing comes from God to us to use for others, and we are laying it down at his feet to use, he will use us and what he has given us for his glory.

"Thy Word have i hid in mine heart, that i might not sin against thee." Psalm 119:11

We need to be where we are with patience (Luke 21:19) and have great endurance (Matthew 10:22) to the end, for God's timing is not our timing, his ways are not our ways. We need to listen as we seek him first and early each day. We don't want to miss a thing he has for us.

"i love them that love me and those that seek me early shall find me." Proverbs 8:17

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33

God is no liar, what he says in his word is true and is for all who believe on His son and are saved. There will come the day very soon when he says "..i never knew you, depart from me.." Matthew 7:23 and the finality of the lake of fire will come upon man, "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast onto the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15

The time is now to REPENT and believe on Jesus..To turn our backs on the wickedness of this world and cleanse it from our hearts. This world has nothing to offer us and God has offered us everything. From the day of Adam and Eve's rebellion in the garden until now, God has been shedding his grace, mercy and love abroad unto all men. He has been giving us every opportunity to turn from our wickedness and unto him. Eternity is a certainty, but where we spend it is a choice each one of us must make.

Do not let this world distract you for one second, not one. It is a trap and so many need to be freed from it. ""Love not the world neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world." 1 John 2:15-16

God writes these things to teach us and to warn us of the world and the devil that is roaming all about, looking to devour us (1 Peter 5:8) and our children in an instant... The evil is getting more intense as Satan's time is coming to an end. Look around, it is easy to see. Focus on your family and raising holy and righteous children (Proverbs 22:6) and your circle of influence right where you are...preach the Gospel of Jesus to whosoever will listen to you and if they don't, know you are planting the seeds of righteousness and God's word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11).

Do not be distracted. This is the hour, amen. A little leaven leavens the whole lump..Galatians 5:9. Do not let the world into your heart, fill it with Jesus and his joy and peace..fill it with His words of life that will overflow unto the people in the world who are waiting to hear them, the lost, the back-slidden, the ones who need God so desperately. Right where you live. Today, this moment. Do not be distracted now at this time in history when our country is headed to fulfill Revelation prophesy and Jesus will return.

Fight the good fight, give up the things of the world and live for Jesus. Please.

"For i determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and him crucified." 1 Corinthians 2:2
