GOD'S WILL

"...thy WILL be done, on earth as it is in heaven..." Matthew 6:10

What are we Christians all here for? What is the end result of all the prayer, reading, fasting? i believe it is to do His will, no matter how we "feel" about it, no matter what anyone says about it, no matter if it leads to our death, it has got to be His will, no matter what. We are here to do God's will. Are we in His will or out of His will with each step we make, each breath we take?

"And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee, take this cup away from me, nevertheless not what i will, but what thou wilt." Mark 14:36

His will even when it is painful, agonizing, torturous, and will cost us our life.

"For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live and do this or that." James 4:15

His will and only his will no matter what. Not a move, not a word if it is not God's will.

"And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Romans 12:2

Putting on the mind of Christ to do God's will. We must abide in Him 24/7, no excuses. Abide, live in, be one with, forever. The Holy spirit of God lives in us, we must listen and obey, this is God's will.

God is our holy, righteous, loving Father and he sent his son Jesus to reconcile sinful, rebellious, hard-hearted man to Himself (John 3:16). We are his sons and daughters. He teaches and admonishes, he raises us to live for eternity with Him. There is nothing of greater importance in this life and into eternity than to do the will of God. He is our loving Abba Father who wants more than anything for us to do his will in obedience to Him. To love him as he loves us. He deserves nothing less.

"And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts crying Abba, Father." Galatians 4:6

Man o man, i can tell you the struggles i have had in this life in the areas of submission, obedience and love for my brothers and sisters. Choosing by my standards who i would submit to and who i would not, who i would love and who i would not. We cal it selective submission. It is a sin. But God opened my eyes and ears and heart to his presence and his teachings and my life can never be the way it was. i can never go back.

In Romans 1:1, Paul calls himself a servant of Christ. This word means Doulos, or bond servant. A slave of his own free will unto death. That is what we Christians are. We ARE going to face horrible taskmasters in life and we are going to face loving ones, and in both situations, if it is of God's will, then we will react the same. We will be loving in all its glory of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, we will be the servant unto death and we will do it with joy as unto the Lord. In this we bring glory unto God.

In discipleship we learned that the leader is the servant of all, Christ-like. Some leaders never learn this, they will never carry the burden they want you to carry, but that is their sin. If they are in a place of authority in our lives then we must submit. Like it or not. Jesus put it this way, "Verily, verily i say unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them." John 13:16-17

"And he sat down and called the twelve and saith unto them, "If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all." Mark 9:35

"And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be the servant of all." Mark 10:44

i do not care what we call ourselves, Pastor, Evangelist, Apostle, Teacher, Prophet, etc..we are servants of all. Jesus said ALL. The church has it all twisted and dark, but Jesus is clear. Do not be deceived.

This world is turned evil and upside down as it is on its way to the tribulation and the end of days. We need to realize how short a time we truly have to do the work God sent us to do. To truly know his will, we need to press up and in to the Father, close enough to hear his heartbeat, his thoughts, and make them ours. Close enough that when you come out of your prayer closet, you are walking in Him and he in you, each moment, till you can go back again.

Remember this.. "Not every one that saith unto me Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the WILL of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will i profess unto them, i never knew you, depart from me ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:21-23

This is important because one cannot just go full out into the doing of this and that, saying it is in the service of God and forsake everything else if it is not His will. It takes patience and endurance to do God's will and to make it into eternity as the unblemished, unwrinkled, unspotted bride of Christ that God is looking for. Take heed.

Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10)...so right where you are seek out the lost and bring the Gospel message of Repentance, of salvation and an eternity with our loving God. Do not ever forsake this work, wherever you are, this is part of God's will for our lives.

The other big piece is to pray without ceasing (1 Thess 5:17), read the Word of God and fast, as you are doing His will in your life. Abide in Him and he will abide in you, seek him (Matthew 7:77, Proverbs 8:17) and he will be found, know him and his son and you are assured of eternal life (John 17:3).

i don't know everything, but what i do know i know real good. God bless you in your walk in His will...amen.
