JESUS IS THE LAMP UNTO MY FEET....AMEN

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105

The truth was revealed to the Jews of Jesus time and it has been revealed to us. The Jewish religious leaders of Jesus day rejected the truth, they were the foolish virgins of the old covenant. In rejecting Jesus they were blinded and deafened. We of the new covenant all carry lamps too. The truth has been revealed. Is your lamp filled with oil? Are you ready to meet the bridegroom? It's your choice. God is perfect, his timing is perfect and his plan is perfect, when all is said and done, when it is all played out, he will have gathered his people unto himself.

"What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for but the election hath obtained it and the rest were blinded. According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see and ears that they should not hear unto this day." Romans 11:7-8

LAMP=Revealed truth
OIL=Indwelling of the Holy Spirit
TEN=a number of completeness

"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold the bridegroom cometh go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps and the foolish said unto the wise give us of your oil for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered saying, Not so, lest there be not enough for us and you but go ye rather to them that sell and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy the bridegroom came and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins saying Lord, Lord open to us, but he answered and said, Verily i say unto you i know you not. Watch therefore for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." Matthew 25:1-13

If you are going through trials and sufferings, then rejoice, rejoice in the Lord always. Look to Jesus, the lamp, the light, the truth, he is always there. If people just cannot get it, if they just do not see why you are studying the Word of God hours a day, praying without ceasing, fasting, going to the lost, edifying the body, and generally eating, breathing, living and sleeping in Jesus, well then just rejoice. Some people will just never get it. Some will never advance beyond the shallow or false learning they have acquired. But for the one that does get it, everything is worth it, and the angels in heaven rejoice with you..amen.

My Jesus is eternal, my Jesus is God, my Jesus is almighty, He was, He is and He ever shall be, my Jesus is a consuming fire, He is all i desire to think about. i study to show myself approved (2 Timothy 2;15), not for man, but to know God's will for my eternal soul. His will for my life will direct me to exactly where he wants me to be in this life. i do not want to miss anything he has for me. Jesus is coming for his church and while he tarries, i will be prepared to stand against the evil days ahead, i will be found a good and faithful servant, well doing. No man knows the day or the hour so in that we have died with Him, there is no other choice but to be obedient and consistent in submitting to and doing God's will in our lives. Amen
