BAPTIZED BY JESUS..

John the Baptist said this... "John answered saying unto them all, i indeed baptize you with water but one mightier than i cometh, the latchet of whose shoes i am not worthy to unloose he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire." Luke 3:16

When we cry out, by the grace and mercy of God, to Jesus with repentant hearts unto salvation, we have begun to get a REVELATION of Christ. We have had an experience of his appearance in our life. Our lives are forever changed. This revelation brings us to a place where we are humble before God and his Holy Spirit can indwell us. This is the place where we see with spiritual eyes and are UNDONE (Isaiah 6:1-5), we fall as dead men and are rendered speechless before Him.

"And when i saw him i fell at his feet as dead and he laid his right hand upon me saying unto me Fear not i am the first and the last." Revelation 1:17

When we sacrifice our whole lives unto him as he did for us, when we hear his voice and submit to his will in our life each moment, when we are obedient to all things in him, each circumstance of fiery trial, tribulation, sacrifice, that comes our way and we face with trust and faith in him, our flesh is burnt off, our sinful nature is crucified and we become new creatures in Him, ready for the next revelation of Christ, serving him and walking holy, righteous and blameless lives into eternity..amen.

"That no flesh should glory in his presence." 1 Corinthians 1:29

As we study Gods word (and all believers should be studying), we should be as dead men in his presence.. allowing Jesus to reveal to us who He is. The Bible is a living word of God and should not be treated flippantly, but with awe and reverence for who He is. Read in the Holy Spirit. As God reveals himself to us we will be forever changed, changed for an eternity with him...amen.
