THESE DAYS ARE URGENT AND EVIL..

These days we live in are urgent and evil... to even get glimpses of the eternal realm, to walk in the Spirit of God, we must be fully given over to God in all we think, do and say. We must be on the narrow way of Matthew 7:13-14. Our thoughts, deeds and speech must be holy, righteous and true every step of the way..

The friends of the world are truly the enemies of God, adulterers and adulteresses of the ways of God, James 4:4. They put themselves and their own agenda over God's, their hearts are compromised by evil. A dangerous place to be.

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15 God is no respecter of persons, what he does for one he will do for another..the difference then is who we are in Christ, who do we choose to follow each step of our life, what we are doing or not doing for God...to further the kingdom??

If or when we are saved, we are saved unto good works, good works will not save us, Ephesians 2:8-10. Those good works are what? God knows and they are just for you. Whatever they are, they are always for God's glory, to further the kingdom of God... They are always under the authority of God, in the body of Christ fitly joined together, each supplying the need of the other, wherever we are. Acts of benevolence without God's authority are like filthy rags. We cannot walk in lack of love, offense, unforgivness in the body of Christ. There cannot be the exalting of the self or self justification or gratification.. the self has got to go, crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20) so that it is not us that lives but Christ in us, every step of the way in these urgent and evil days.
