DYING TO SELF...

‎"Put on therefore as the elect of God holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering, forbearing one another and forgiving one another if any man have a quarrel against any even as Christ forgave you so also do ye." Colossians 3:12-13
It is easy for me to feel "left out" or... "hurt" by family or friends that i love and have known forever... but by the grace and mercy of God i can step back and be in Him, i can choose to love and forgive and not let anything i "feel" fester into bitterness, strife, envy.. because the eternal reality of that is that i love myself more than God and i do not.. i love God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength, and my neighbor as myself (Matthew 22:37-40)... So love and forgiveness means no offense in my life.. Thank you Jesus that you loved me so much to lay down you life for me, please keep me laying mine down for others..amen, so be it, amen.
