WHAT DO YOU PROFIT??
"For what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" Matthew 16:26
Jesus was rebuking Peter in this discourse, Matthew 16:23-28, for thinking like the world, like a mere man.

Will your profit be eternal life with God or with Satan? WHOM DO YOU SERVE?
"And fear not them which kill the body but are not able to kill the soul but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28
Who and what do we look, act and speak like? Are we exchanging the truth of God for the lie of Satan (Romans 1:25)? Are we calling evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20)?
Who do we look like? Is it Jesus who came to show the way to eternity with God, dying an agonizing and excruciating death to seal the covenant between us an God? Is it Jesus who is God, who is the Holy Spirit left to lead us to all truth? Is it Jesus who is holy, righteous, obedient, just, pure and eternal? Is it Jesus who is all things good, all things holy, all things pure?
OR is it Satan we look like? Is it Satan, the father of all lies and liars who is leading millions to hell every day by their compromise? Is it Satan, who makes us think we can do whatever our SELF/FLESH wants to and still spend eternity with God? Is it Satan who tells us we have plenty of time to clean up our life, our language, our daily compromises of what we know to be unholy and unrighteous thoughts, words and deeds against a holy and righteous God?
Come on people.. if we lead a life of compromise and know we do, we need to repent right now and ask God to forgive us and redeem our time. Get into Gods word and Gods word will get into you.
It is NOT OK to make our language unholy, swearing and cussing as part of everyday conversation, it is not of God and indicates our heart is not right with God.. We are not reading his word enough, not enough prayer, not enough, if any, doing his will in our life...
It is NOT OK to make drunkeness part of our life.
It is NOT OK to even tell one lie.
it is NOT OK to cheat and steal..
it is NOT OK to live in sexual immorality of any kind.
it is NOT OK to live for your-self, your flesh.
WAKE UP...read Ephesian 5, Philippians 4:6-8, Galatians 5, 2 Timothy 3 and on and on.. God came as His only Son to die to bring us to him, he has given us his Word long written down to bring us unto him..He has left us his Spirit to lead us. What more do we want? We must all move from the temporal/fleshy/worldly to the Godly/holy/eternal NOW in our lives, do not waste any more time. Cry out to Jesus, REPENT and be saved. Let him into your heart to change it forever, for eternity.
If we are living in ANY compromise and our heart does not convict us of these or ANY other sin then our heart is not right with God, it is hard, there are scales on our eyes.. we are serving the devil and will end up in torture and torment in the lake of fire for eternity..He has you fooled into serving yourself and him, not God.. Read God's word for yourself and be drawn unto Him.
"No man can serve two masters for either he will hate the one, and love the other or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6:24
You cannot serve God and Satan, you must choose. Time is short.
