SO WHAT

Is our faith focused on the eternal or the temporal? On the things of God or the things of the world? Because where we are focused determines how we face our trials by fire, our fiery darts, our refining. With Jesus as the author and finisher of our faith(Hebrews 12:2) and our eyes on eternity(Psalm 121:1), we know He is working it all out. Then we can say SO WHAT to whatever comes our way. We can be the ministers of reconciliation we are called to be in
2 Corinthians 5:18: "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation."

If we are walking in the Spirit, led by the Spirit, relentlessly pursuing the Word of God, then we do not walk in condemnation as the world does. We are not condemned to the coming wrath, to eternal damnation, but we are joyfully awaiting and working towards the Day of the Lord, the day He comes and splits the Eastern sky (Matthew 24:27).

Pastor Troy said yesterday, "Jesus did not come to deliver us from the trials, He came to preserve us from temptation and to present us as His bride." Amen. Isn't that what we all want as believers on the Day of the Lord?

i wonder why more people do not take the time to be with Jesus here on earth, in this eye-blink, vaopour of a life, when being with Him, He in us and us in Him, is what we are made to be. For Eternity.. To be His and do His will. It grieves my heart, but until i am called home i will relentlessly pursue Him and the lost. Praise God, what joy. AMEN
