THE GODHEAD

Have you ever thought about the term Godhead? i look at it like this. Our God is a triune God, three in one, Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Each has always been, is, and ever shall be. Eternal. Since God as Jesus is not dwelling on earth physically in the form of man anymore, we have God in the form of the Holy Ghost to dwell in us. To lead us to all truth, to guide our hearts and minds as we surrender to him, the head. We are the branches, He is the true vine, His father is the husbandman (John 15:1), we are the servant, he is the master.

"For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." Colossians 2:9

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse." Romans 1:20

"i am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was and which is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:8

Believers truly are without excuse. i believe that when we come to Jesus, God in the form of the Holy Ghost comes to indwell us, He is the head. The head of the Church (Ephesians 5:23; Ephesians 1;22) which is his body, his bride (1 Corinthians 11:3), us. We conform to His will and our lives, our minds, our very beings become new in him. We no longer are of this world nor conformed to it (Romans 12:2). We are new creatures (2 Cor 5:17) in Christ the head, new righteous and holy men (Ephesians 4:24) and we have a new commandment (John 13:34).
